Caller named "John" with accent that sounded like he was from India told my husband that my husband"s computer was sending his company (which he didn"t identify) messages that it was having problems. Sounded like scam right off bat. My husband asked caller to tell him what he was selling, caller did not answer question. Husband told caller to remove our telephone number from their database.

That is Newfoundland Canada and the caller is probably not even in Canada. Just another scam from India.

Caller said he was from fixmycomputerdude.com which after more research looks as if it is a part of the phone scam. go to better business bureau to see their report of fixmycomputerdude.com (F rating). Phone scam, do not give them access to your computer. He said that my computer was sending him messages that there was a problem.
