Got a cold call from this number to my office;
Recorded message said I had been ``selected`` by Airmiles to recieve a 25000 airmiles and a free vacation.
told them Airmiles does noptdo this and that i was phoning the Canadian Anti-fraud centre, the BBB and Airmiles. he quickly hung up.

I got call on my cell saying you win 2500 airmiles press one to collect,I felt for it,they are so good at it,how they represent and they are good at it what they do,once in Hawaii with just dream I felt for it, I paid at front just about 2000 and some payments until I realized they are scamers,it was to late,I ow them 6500.they whana sue me now,they keep calling,they can ,,,,,,.and with this vac by new port also I paid 1370 for 4 peaople,I disease no to go and claim my loss for second time,it"s to bad but I learned,sad part to many people are fraying to provide their family and their life"s,this people are calling and lying thru their teeth,making it sound good,so some people think after all that hard work in this life to take a break because it sounds like a good deal and afordable.also most of this scamers stay for few yrs under same name then they change to different name and location,avoiding getting caught

Getting Airmiles Collector calls for several weeks now on my office phone, press 9 to be removed (doesn"t work) press 1 to speak to an agent.

When I speak to an agent and tell them they are calling a work number they immediately hang up. - Driving me nuts.

I was in Hawaii Honolulu I was scamed by Just Dreams.we couldn"t enter into a website for good 2 mnts and when we did nothing was there that they offered,we try to cancell it we couldn"t,try calling credit company to cancel the payments they couldn"t do anithing about it,so I upgraded my credit card with different number and it worked,I upgraded from silver to gold visa,different number and they won"t be able take your money

recording says its a short survey and my opinion is important to them, this recording runs on a continuous loop and will fill up a 30 min. tape on an answering machine. I"m in B.C., if anyone in ontario wants to "visit" this twerp, I would owe you one from B.C.

I actually bought this package and did travel. Although they do call a lot it is actually a legitimate company. The reason why the vacation is so cheap is because you have to sit through timeshare presentations. If you dont mind that it isn"t bad. I was skeptical at first because it sounded to good to be true. I did not like that you had to buy in one call but decided to go for it because I was told I could cancel. After reviewing with my wife we kept the package. We did the orlando portion, daytona and miami. We had a good time, it was tough booking because they do have a high volume of travelers but again we saved a lot of money. We still have the Bahama portion left.

Got fed up with daily cold calls from the number above, so waited to speak with someone. His name was "Rob", and I asked how he received my number. He claimed I was chosen through Air Canada"s profile. I asked if this is being offered from Air Canada and he said this "offer" was by Vacations by Newport. When I asked him what relationship this had to do with Air Canada, he hung up.
How does he do it? The phone number he dialed was my work number,
I"m reporting him.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cellphone which is. costing me money.

I got the call from 416 -588-9262 I have been receiving these calls that goes like "Airmiles collector....press 1 to...I finally fed up and chose the option to speak to a rep.IThe rest was a sale pitch by Vacations by Newport for a Florida vacations package.After i spoke the original person named Donavan, I was transferred to a higher ranking person named Adam.It sounded to me like a real travel package but they want you to decide on the phone.Originally 47 (624 per person upto second person.3rd and 4th ppl free but they dropped it to 1047 with a 0 airfare credit.10 days +9 nights in Florida (btw orlanda, daytona beach and miami beach) and an additional 7 day/6 night at Bahamas.10 day free unlimited car rental.other bonus offers like restaurant credit and 0 orlando magic (discount) card and even a 0 voucher to Theme park (disney -universal studios) By the way there was the option of getting a 4 day cruise for 9 per person as well.
It sounded like a good deal that I would consider purchasing but they insisted on this being a one calll per person and I had to signup now with the option of 30 day review -refund although I said i cant without my husband"s approval.Eventually he asked when my husband was coming home (it was a sunday) .I said 9pm. He said lets see about monday and immediatelly decided to hang up by saying "you have a good day ma"m) They were native speakers.And I found out they were actually in Florida and their call center was within the hotel.They also had a website vacationsbynewport.com
Now, could sb tell me if they are legit or a scam? When I asked them to help me estimate my overall expenses they also told me how much the flight would prob.ly cost from detroit down to florida (220-180 per person) and for food in florida as a rule of thumb person/day
Did anyone actually book a vacation with them?

I received a call from this number, and the message stated i was gonna receive 2800 travel credit to press 1... the promotion is a vacation to florida. i researched the resorts and the company, as well as there licence and bond number. It is a legitimate company, so i purchased the 10 day vacation for 7 usd. i received 2 confirmation emails, and double checked everything with the customer service dept, and the resorts... I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing i was really concerned with was the additional cost of airfare from edmonton. however, when i called customer service, they were able to offer airfare assistance and saved me 9 per person off of the pricing i was seeing online.

I keep getting calls from these idiots (Vacations by Newport). Usually the number isn"t shown on my phone it just says "Ontario". I pressed 2 to be removed. That didn"t work. I called back and the number they call from is not assigned.

Today I decided to hurt them in their wallets. I answered. I pressed 1 for more info. I told Kathy that her pre-canned scripts sounded great. I answered every question she asked affirmatively. Eventually she passed me on to Adam for "more information". (She was reading canned scripts; Adam was the real sales guy that she passes people on to once she qualifies them as potential suckers.) Adam offered me even better / cheaper deals. I played along with him and agreed with everything he asked too.

Eventually he asked for my email address and I told him:

So here is what I have just done to you. I have wasted your time. I am not going to buy anything from you but I"m tired of you people calling me. I"ve tried pushing 2 to be removed from your list but you call anyway. I"ve told the operator that I know you"re a scam and probably illegal but she hung up on me and didn"t take me off you list. I frankly don"t care if you"re scammers and fraudsters. I do mind you wasting my time though, so I decided to waste yours. So for the last half hour (it was actually 28 minutes) I have been stringing you along. That"s half an hour that you could have been spending trying to sell your scam to someone who actually might buy. I won"t. So that"s half an hour of your time gone. You can keep calling me if you want--my # is x*x-x*x-xxxx--but every time you do, I"m going to do the same thing. I"m going to string you along and keep you on the phone for half an hour, and that"s half an hour you won"t be able to spend selling your scam to someone dumb enough to buy it. So keep calling. Or take me off your list. Whichever you want. Again, my # is x*x-x*x-xxxx. I"m happy to waste a half hour of your time every time you call. Again, # is x*x-x*x-xxxx.

Adam got defensive and then hung up on me.

I"m going to keep hitting them in the wallet. For those of you who do NOT get a call because "Adam" is too busy on the phone getting reverse-scammed by ME, you"re welcome.

I received a recorded call from this number that I had been selected to receive 2500 Air Miles and to press "1" to accept. I hung up as I knew it was a scam. Has anyone contacted Air Miles Canada about this?

I got the call today saying I won 2500 miles as a preferred traveller from aircanada. I told her I wasn"t interested but the call came from 1 (780) 747-9639

Vacasions by new port SCAM

The number that called me was 201-0131 (no area code given). The marketers sounded American in accent. I looked up Air Miles Home page and they say they never give automated calls telling anyone they"ve won air miles. That convinced me it"s a scam.
