They say it"s a call from Canada Revenu agency, telling that all your acards have been cancel . I call back, no one speacks french. So it can not be canadian. Please if you recevice a call from this phone number reporte it to your local police.

I want to thank these comments for saving me from a really sticky situation! THIS IS A SCAM!!! "Nathan" called me on my work phone stating that I had less an 1 hour to pay back what is owed or I could face 18 months in prison, but I could not contact anyone else about this. He also stated that if I did not pay back the money, my information would be blacklisted and I would be barred from all government services. When I started asking him if this was a scam he said that he doesn"t have to justify anything to me and that I could pay now or go to jail.

Received a voicemail from them claiming "...inability to pay taxes to Revenue Canada (the message cuts out like a cell phone) they will proceed with legal proceeding". Didn"t know CRA used "cellphones" to contact people about any outstanding taxes and would leave voicemail messages claiming they would proceed with legal action. TOTAL SCAM. Do not believe these people - CRA would contact you with a live person and not an automated message.
