I got a VM but the beginning of the message was cut off. All I heard was about the lawsuit, cal the number or a warrant will be out for my arrest. Should this not be reported to the police? Telling people if they don"t call a warrant will be put out for their arrest is HUGE, so many people out there would take it seriously!

I missed a call from 613-927-9723 Athens, Ontario and received a voicemail recording indicating that a lawsuit had been registered under my name and if I did not phone back an arrest warrant would be issued. Obviously these scammers have been busy today as I see a couple of other people have had this happen today as well..

I received the following voice mail message: This is a call from Revenue Canada regarding a law suit that will be issued in your name if I do not call 613-927-9723. Please call or an arrest warrant will be issued in your name. I called and got a voice mail which said "Sorry, , local 4992122 has no more room in its mail box for messages"..
I believe this is some kind of scam. Revenue Canada would have left a message using my name.and indicated what the law suit was about,

Exactly same details - I’m supposedly being sued but same mailbox is full. VM Greeting offers no company name that I’m sure the CRA would require if a valid call. They didn’t call my home number that CRA has but did call & leave message on my mobile.

This was a voicemail left saying they will issue a warrant for my arrest. Revenue Canada NEVER leaves messages like this without a proper persons name, case number, proper phone number to contact them back. Hope this helps everyone. These people need to be shut down.

Recorded Message came on stating I needed to call That number or that an investigation was launched and if I did not respond and call the number to resolve it a warrant in my arrest would occur .i called the number and a gentle men with a African accent (in my opinion ) stated he was officer Brian Smith when i said I would give him my phone number I asked him to tell me why he called he insisted for my nam - full name .I stated if he was revenue Canada with my number he could tell me why he called..I asked again why did you call me ?.He hung up I phoned back and said I guess we got cut off.He stated that he hung up on me I said if you do not tell me why you called you wiil get reported.He said please do and hung up.other numbers are 1 361 687 6709 also 1 205 383 4625 and 1 561 666 0408.Thanks Be careful out there people.

Received a voicemail, from this number today. It also showed up as V12015290700015 for ID. Message stated that this was "CRA calling because a lawsuit was getting registered under my name. Got this same call today too. The automated message said a law suit has been filed in my name and if I don"t call 613-927-9723, a warrant will be issued for my arrest. The number showed up as V11508535400014 on my cell phone. Thanks for the helpful comments letting others know that this is a scam.

Got a missed call from this number and a message on my voicemail. Called back, and was asked for (I think) my case number.
