He called around 3:00pm on May 13th, 2015. My wife was very upset when the scammer claimed that he is a revenue canada agent and there has been a legal action has been filed against me. He also said that if I did not call him back I would be arrested. The scammer had broken English, and there was a lot of static in the background.

Same story here. The person was a fraud. I called the police and they said this a fraud that is ongoing. People will threaten and ask for money.

This number called me about half an hour ago claiming to be from CRA and said they have a legal notice for me and to call. I called back, left a message. He called back and ended up disconnecting me before I got to say anything other than my name. I called back again, thinking it was something serious, and left another message...he hasn"t called back. His first language clearly wasn"t English. I"m glad I Googled the number!

I received a call from 613-777-0645 saying that there was a tax fraud case against me. I tried redialing the number, but got a busy signal.

Interestingly, he sounds like the guy , who calls, saying he is from Microsoft and there is something wrong with my computer (well documented scam from Asia).

I got a call from Daniel white saying all of the above accusations and that I was going to be crimslly changed and warrant issued if I did not pay an amount owed within I hour police were going to show up at my door. I just losty brother trying to arrange his funeral and take care of my 3 kids as a single mom. They said I needed to empty my account and that they can verify how much I had there. My mind was boggled and confused due to this harassment and all going on with the death in my family I deposited all my monies for my monthly expenses to they so they would not move forward to a Navit bhinders Td account #6734229 branch 0608. I was so overwhelmed that I contact the police verified it was a scam. I distraught by this and don"t want anyone else to deal with this issue. He also uses an email alias of Kevin Smith

Said he was from CRA, was going to send a High Commission Officer to my house to arrest me for outstanding fees owing on back taxes. When I started asking questions he got very rude and hund up on me. didn"t stop there he called back the next day.

I agree that this is a scam. This was voice mail left today at 10:23 am Eastern on my home phone in Ottawa, Canada. Broken English, and said, "Revenue Canada has filed a case against you. Kindly call us back before you get arrested." He followed this with, "Thank-you and have a nice day". I have my taxes done professionally - there"s no way there could have been any fraud at all, let alone enough to have the police at my door. Don"t get caught by this.

Call similar to above. Message left saying caller was from CRA Tax Audit Division - that they had received a legal notice, and that I should call back immediately or risk arrest. I instead called the CRA general enquiries number, and after my identity had been satisfactorily established, was assured the call had not come from them.

My daughter picked up a call at home from this number today and questioned the caller in order to take a message. The individual calling ended up calling my daughter "stupid", which is what led me to Google the number and find this. Clearly not legit - and rude, to boot!

Rec"d a VM earlier today saying that it was CRA calling about a legal notice relating me to a tax fraud.
I googled the number to find this chain and agree that it must be fraud.
I have rec"d similar calls from a similar # offering me increased credit on my credit cards etc. Once I spoke with the fellow and questioned him, He hung up.
Will leave a message with CRA to let them know of this.
